Opis:

Experiment demonstrating viscosity of a fluid i.e. internal friction. There is glycerin flowing in the pipe. The lower part of the glycerin is colored in order to make the effect visible. Along the axis the glycerin flows with greatest speed, since the internal friction is lowest. Farther from the axis the internal friction increases, which lowers the speed. It can be seen by the curved boundary surface between the colored and transparent glycerin. Performed and explained by Prof. Oliver Zajkov at the Physics Institute at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje, Macedonia.
