BONE MARROW: HYPERGRANULAR ACUTE PROMYELOCYTIC LEUKEMIA (AML-M3)

Bone marrow aspirate from a patient with hypergranular acute promyelocytic leukemia. The cytoplasm of the majority of promyelocytes contains abundant azurophilic granulation. Two microgranular promyelocytes with lobulated nuclei and basophilic cytoplasm are present. (Wright-Giemsa stain)
