BONE MARROW: ACUTE MYELOMONOCYTIC LEUKEMIA (AML-M4)

Bone marrow smear from a patient with acute myelomonocytic leukemia. Monocytes and neutrophils at different stages of maturation are intermixed. Several promonocytes with abundant cytoplasm containing fine azurophilic granules and delicately creased nuclei are present. (Wright-Giemsa stain)
