Swedish made Jarmann repeating rifle "försöksmodell 1881" ("two-band" trials model, identical to the Norwegian Model 1884 Jarmann rifle), made by Carl Gustafs Stads Gevärsfaktori. The rifle was accepted in 1884 by the Norwegian army after the joint Swedish-Norwegian rifle trials of the early 1880's, it was also used in limited numbers by the Swedish Navy but not by the Swedish Army.
