Opis:

Memorial to the victims of the Katyń massacre in the 3rd district of Budapest (Óbuda). The cube-shaped memorial made of rusted iron inclined contains a block of black granite. The pattern of openwork iron imitates a forest recalling the location of the massacre. In the evening it is lit from within. The authors are Mr. Géza Varga-Szeri sculptor and Mr. Zoltán Varga-Szeri architect. Its inauguration took place on 8th April 2011.
