blue andgold bands, but so exquisitely done that thisornament was quite sufficient to balancethe inside decoration. Mrs. Jack had apleasing service plate decorated with a goldgeometrical ornament that formed a largenumber of openings for flowers in which shearranged the same group, in four differentcolors. Mrs. Hubbard had a chocolate potin browns and red enamel that was uniquein arrangement of design and well executed.She also showed a very pretty little bon bonplate in red and gold. Miss Helga M.Peterson exhibited a chocolate pot withsugar and creamer, showing a fine concep-tion of the division and balance of ornamenton pieces that are broken by handles andnoses. The geometrical forms were welldrawn and the floral parts were artisticallyadapted to the enclosures of the decorationand the form of the china. Altogether, itwas an extremely successful grouping. Mrs.F. A. Hanlon showed a chop platter of geo-m.etrical and floral ornament, which was avery clever arrangement of pink and pale
