Southward along the Miami and Erie Canal from the Deep Cut Road bridge in Salem Township, Auglaize County, Ohio, United States. Deep Cut Road is officially the southern boundary of the Miami and Erie Canal Deep Cut. Here the canal continues through a ridgeline, more than fifty feet below the original surface at certain locations, and far more significantly than in the section pictured.
