A crashed U.S. Army Air Force Curtiss P-40E Warhawk of the 33rd Pursuit Group (Provisional) at Darwin, Northern Territories (Australia). This was one of nine USAAF P-40s shot down during the Japanese Raid on Darwin on 19 February 1942.
