Opis:

Veniamin (Kazansky), Russian Orthodox Metropolitan of Petrograd and Gdov in 1917-1922, at the session of the Petrograd Revolutionary Provincial Tribunal facing charges of "Counter Revolutionary Agitation" for his stand against the wholescale requisitioning of church valuables by the Bolsheviks. He was charged and executed by firing squad by the decision of the Tribunal in 1922.
