7. Światowe Wojskowe Igrzyska Sportowe – multidyscyplinarne zawody dla sportowców-żołnierzy, które odbyły się w dniach od 18 do 27 października 2019 w Wuhan w Chinach[2].

W zawodach, które uroczyście rozpoczął przewodniczący Chińskiej Republiki Ludowej Xi Jinping, wzięło udział ok. 9300 zawodników ze 109 państw świata skupionych w CISM (Rosja była 110 państwem)[1][3]. Najwięcej medali zdobyli reprezentanci Chin łącznie 239 (w tym 133 złote, 64 srebrne oraz 42 brązowe), Polska 60 medali (11, 15, 34)[1][4].

Rozgrywane dyscypliny

Zawody obejmowały 28 dyscyplin (316 konkurencje), po raz pierwszy rozegrano zawody pokazowe w gimnastyce artystycznej oraz w tenisie ziemnym[5].

Przebieg zawodów

W poniższym kalendarzu Światowych Wojskowych Igrzysk Sportowych 2019 zaprezentowano dni, w których rozdane zostały medale w danej dyscyplinie sportu (żółty kolor), rozegrane zostały eliminacje (niebieski kolor), ceremonia otwarcia (zielony) i zamknięcia światowych igrzysk wojskowych (czerwony).
Rozegrano na igrzyskach w 2019 po raz pierwszy jako zawody pokazowe w gimnastyce akrobatycznej oraz w tenisie ziemnym (medale nie były zaliczane do klasyfikacji medalowej drużyn).

Polscy reprezentanci

Polska po raz 7. uczestniczyła w letnich igrzyskach wojskowych. Szefem misji Wojska Polskiego na VII Światowe Wojskowe Igrzyska Sportowe był gen. dyw. Marek Sokołowski, szefem delegacji płk Tomasz Bartkowiak[4]. Reprezentacja Polski liczyła 193 żołnierzy (91 kobiet i 102 mężczyzn), wystartowała w 18 dyscyplinach, medale zdobyła w 12[7][6]. Największymi gwiazdami w polskiej ekipie byli: Wojciech Kotowski uprawiający ratownictwo sportowe – zdobywca dwóch złotych i brązowego medalu oraz Michał Rozmys lekkoatleta – zdobywca dwóch złotych (bieg na 800 m i 1500 m).

The flag of the Dominican Republic has a centered white cross that extends to the edges. This emblem is similar to the flag design and shows a bible, a cross of gold and 6 Dominican flags. There are branches of olive and palm around the shield and above on the ribbon is the motto "Dios,Patria!, Libertad" ("God, Country, Freedom") and to amiable freedom. The blue is said to stand for liberty, red for the fire and blood of the independence struggle and the white cross symbolized that God has not forgotten his people. "Republica Dominicana". The Dominican flag was designed by Juan Pablo Duarte, father of the national Independence of Dominican Republic. The first dominican flag was sewn by a young lady named Concepción Bona, who lived across the street of El Baluarte, monument where the patriots gathered to fight for the independence, the night of February 27th, 1844. Concepción Bona was helped by her first cousin María de Jesús Pina.

The Flag of India. The colours are saffron, white and green. The navy blue wheel in the center of the flag has a diameter approximately the width of the white band and is called Ashoka's Dharma Chakra, with 24 spokes (after Ashoka, the Great). Each spoke depicts one hour of the day, portraying the prevalence of righteousness all 24 hours of it.
