3 Armia, niem. 3. Armee – jedna z niemieckich armii w czasie II wojny światowej.
Formowania i walki
Utworzona w sierpniu 1939 jako armia ćwiczebna, pod koniec miesiąca otrzymała właściwą nazwę.
Po kampanii wrześniowej, w której brała udział (w składzie Grupy Armii Północ) atakując z Prus Wschodnich na Warszawę, przekształcona w Dowództwo Odcinka Granicznego Północ, znalazła się na linii demarkacyjnej między Niemcami a ZSRR.
W drugiej połowie października 1939 roku rozwiązana. Większość sztabu posłużyła do utworzenia 16 Armii.

The Imperial Eagle or Emblem of the German Empire (German Reich, used 1935–1945), which features an eagle looking over its right shoulder, that is, looking to the left from the viewer's point of view. It is similar to the Parteiadler or Emblem of the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP; known in English as the National Socialist German Workers' Party, or simply the Nazi Party), but the eagle of the latter is looking over its left shoulder, that is, looking to the right from the viewer's point of view.

Unaufhaltsam geht der deutsche Vormarsch trotz Sprengungen der Polen weiter. Die Polen haben bei ihrem Rückzug die Eisenbahnüberführung der Linie bei Tarnowitz gesprengt.
