Abhinanda – szwedzki zespół muzyczny grający hardcore punk. Pochodzi z Umei – miasta wielu uznanych zespołów grających w podobnej konwencji, np. Refused, Final Exit i T(I)NC.
Członkowie zespołu są straight edge i propagatorami etyki DIY. Albumy Abhinandy są wydawane przez niezależną, undergroundową wytwórnię Desperate Fight Records (nota bene założoną przez członków zespołu). Na ostatniej płycie Abhinandy – Rumble można usłyszeć efekty współpracy grupy z kwartetem smyczkowym (utwory Centipede, La Musica Continua, The Rumble).

Nazwa
Nazwa zespołu wywodzi się z sanskrytu. Składa się z dwóch członów: abhi („wewnątrz”) + nanda („spokojne/pokojowe przedsięwzięcie”). Słowo to oznacza radość, błogosławieństwo, celebrację lub czczenie. Słowo Abhinanda funkcjonuje również jako imię męskie[1].

Abhinanda was a Swedish hardcore punk band, active between 1992 and 1999. All members were vegan / vegetarian and straight edge. In their existence, they released three studio albums, by the independent label Desperate Fight, owned by vocalist José Saxlund. In these, a new school hardcore sound stood out, which turned to a more alternative side, in its later years. They were part of the phenomenon "Umeå hardcore" along with several bands, among them Refused; with whom they simultaneously formed the Final Exit supergroup. In the 90s, the band had several tours around Europe, made with groups like Refused, Randy, Strife, 108, and Earth Crisis, in addition to sharing with dozens of contemporary bands. In 2009 they briefly met for a tour of Asia. His last show was in his hometown on December 15, 2012, within the framework of the final show of the Refused meeting, together with Final Exit .... Abhinanda, part of the phenomenon "Umeå hardcore" ( Sweden )
