Alborz (per. استان البرز, Ostan-e Alborz) – ostan w północno-centralnym Iranie, najmniejszy spośród wszystkich (5388 km² powierzchni). Stolicą jest Karadż. Ostan położony jest na przednóżu gór Elbrus (w perskim Alborz), ok. 20 kilometrów na północny zachód od Teheranu. Utworzenie tej prowincji – wydzielonej z ostanu Teheran zostało zaaprobowane przez parlament 23 czerwca 2010 roku.

State emblem of the Islamic Republic of Iran. U+262B, stylized version of Arabic script of Allah (الله, with the central lam shaped to look like a sword.) The emblem is also an overlaid rendering of La Ilaha Illa Allah (There is only one God and that is 'Allah').
