Allen Ezail Iverson, znany też jako A.I. lub The Answer (ur. 7 czerwca 1975 w Hampton, Wirginia) – amerykański koszykarz, występujący na pozycji rzucającego obrońcy lub rozgrywającego. Zdobywca nagrody dla najbardziej wartościowego zawodnika NBA w 2001 roku.
Iverson studiował na Uniwersytecie Georgetown, gdzie grał w uczelnianej drużynie Georgetown Hoyas[1]. W 1996 został wybrany w drafcie przez Philadelphia 76ers z nr 1. w I rundzie. 3 listopada 2008 roku drużyna Denver Nuggets wytransferowała Iversona do Detroit Pistons w zamian za Chauncey Billupsa i Antonio McDyessa. 10 września 2009 r. podpisał roczny kontrakt z Memphis Grizzlies[2]. 26 listopada Iverson ogłosił zakończenie kariery zawodowej[3]. Jednak już po tygodniu, 2 grudnia 2009, Iverson podpisał roczny kontrakt z Philadelphią 76ers i tym samym wrócił do dawnej drużyny. Jednak po nieudanym sezonie w Filadelfii odszedł z 76ers. Iverson po długich poszukiwaniach klubu dostał ofertę od tureckiej drużyny Beşiktaşu JK, z którą 29 października 2010 roku podpisał dwuletni kontrakt[4]. 30 października 2013 oficjalnie ogłosił zakończenie kariery[5].
1 marca 2014 w przerwie meczu Philadelphia 76ers – Washington Wizards miała miejsce ceremonia zastrzeżenia numeru 3, z którym występował[6].
W 2002 wystąpił w filmie Magiczne buty[7].
