Aly & Fila – egipski duet producentów muzyki trance i DJ-ów, w którego skład wchodzą Aly Amr Fathalah (Aly) i Fadi Wassef Naguib (Fila)[3].

Historia

Aly i Fila urodzili się w 1981 w Egipcie i znają się od przedszkola[3]. W 1999 pod wpływem muzyki tworzonej przez Paula van Dyka, Steve’a Helstripa i Chicane zaczęli tworzyć muzykę elektroniczną w zbudowanym w tym celu małym studio[3]. W 2002 po odniesieniu sukcesu w ojczyźnie podpisali kontrakt z niemiecką wytwórnią Euphonic Records[3]. Ich pierwsze nagranie Eye of Horus zyskało uznanie Paula van Dyka, Armina van Buurena, Tiësto i innych[3].

Po wygaśnięciu kontraktu z Euphonic Records duet zdecydował się na uruchomienie swojego pierwszego własnego sublabelu Offshore[3]. Pierwszy utwór wydany nakładem tej wytwórni nosił tytuł Spirit Of Ka[3].

Muzycy szybko dołączyli do listy najzdolniejszych DJ-ów i producentów[3]. Grali na wielu dużych światowych imprezach i w najlepszych klubach Europy[3].

W lutym 2009[4] duet założył własną wytwórnię Future Sound of Egypt, która była sublabelem Offshore[1].

W październiku 2010 Aly & Fila zajęli 20. miejsce w głosowaniu DJ Mag Top 100, a pod koniec 2010[4] ich wytwórnia FSOE stała się częścią Armada Music[1].

Od 2011 duet brał udział w imprezach jubileuszowych audycji A State of Trance (kolejno 500, 550[1], 600, 650 oraz 700).

Pierwsza wizyta formacji Aly & Fila w Polsce odbyła się 7 listopada 2009 podczas eventu Planet Of Angels w mieście Łódź.

Future Sound of Egypt

W 2006 Aly & Fila rozpoczęli nadawanie audycji radiowej Future Sound of Egypt[5]. W sierpniu 2013 z okazji jubileuszowej audycji FSOE 300 zorganizowano 5 koncertów w Szarm el-Szejk, Meksyku, Amsterdamie, Buenos Aires i Pradze[5]. W 2014 w ramach odbywającego się w klasztorze Cystersów w Lubiążu festiwalu Electrocity 9 został zorganizowany event FSOE 350, który był prawdopodobnie największym darmowym eventem w Europie. Druga wizyta odnosząca się do jubileuszu Future Sound Of Egypt w Polsce miała miejsce rok później przy okazji fetowania emisji odcinka nr 400. Impreza z tej okazji miała miejsce na terenie Stoczni Gdańskiej.
