Basketball Arena (Arena Koszykówki) – tymczasowa hala sportowa położona na terenie Parku Olimpijskiego w Londynie. Budowa obiektu rozpoczęła się w październiku 2009, a ukończona została w czerwcu 2011. Widownia hali może pomieścić 12 tysięcy osób, przy czym w czasie igrzysk paraolimpijskich pojemność została zmniejszona do 10 tysięcy miejsc. Pod koniec 2012 roku potwierdzono zamiar rozebrania hali w związku z zakończeniem igrzysk. Rozbiórka ma nastąpić po znalezieniu nabywcy, który sfinansowałby prace i zagospodarowałby otrzymane w ten sposób elementy konstrukcyjne. Koszt budowy wyniósł ok. $62.5 mln.[1] - £40 mln. Wszystkie drzwi w budynku były zaprojektowane na co najmniej 2.37744 metra(7.8 stopy), a wnętrze w stanie pomieścić jumbojeta[2].

Ponadto w czasie ceremonii otwarcia i zamknięcia igrzysk hala była wykorzystywana jako strefa oczekiwania dla reprezentacji narodowych mających wmaszerować na Stadion Olimpijski.

exclusive preview of the brand new 12,000 seat basketball arena at the olympic park london. trial events are taking place now for key olympic venues. this international basketball tournament had limited ticket availability (as only certain areas of seating were used) and included matches between croatia and france, great britain and china, australia and serbia.

construction for this arena with its 1,000 tonne steel frame started in march 2010 and was completed in june 2011 on budget. it is one of the largest temporary structures ever built for an olympic games. the whole arena will be dimsantled after the 2012 olympics and could be relocated elsewhere in the country. 7 events will take place here including: basketball, handball, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby & others
