Waga półciężka mężczyzn to jedna z ośmiu męskich konkurencji bokserskich rozgrywanych podczas letnich igrzysk olimpijskich w 1948 w Londynie. Startowali bokserzy o wadze nie przekraczającej 80 kilogramów. Pojedynki w tej kategorii wagowej toczone były w dniach od 9 do 13 sierpnia w halach Earls Court Exhibition Centre i Wembley Arena. Zwyciężył reprezentant Związku Południowej Afryki George Hunter, który otrzymał również Puchar Vala Barkera dla najlepszego technicznie i stylowo pięściarza igrzysk[1]. Wystąpiło 24 bokserów z 24 państw.
