Waga lekkopółśrednia mężczyzn to jedna z jedenastu męskich konkurencji bokserskich rozgrywanych podczas letnich igrzysk olimpijskich w 1972 w Monachium. Startowali bokserzy o wadze nie przekraczającej 63,5 kilograma. Pojedynki w tej kategorii wagowej toczone były w dniach od 30 sierpnia do 10 września w hali Boxhalle. Zwyciężył reprezentant Stanów Zjednoczonych Ray Seales. Issaka Daboré zdobył pierwszy w historii (i jedyny do 2016) medal olimpijski dla Nigru. Wystąpiło 32 bokserów z 32 państw.
