Waga ciężka mężczyzn to jedna z dwunastu męskich konkurencji bokserskich rozgrywanych podczas letnich igrzysk olimpijskich w 1988 w Seulu. Startowali bokserzy o wadze nie przekraczającej 91 kilogramów. Pojedynki w tej kategorii wagowej toczone były w dniach od 22 września do 1 października w hali Jamsil Students' Gymnasium. Zwyciężył reprezentant Stanów Zjednoczonych Ray Mercer. Wystąpiło 18 bokserów z 18 państw.
