British Rail Class 421 - typ elektrycznych zespołów trakcyjnych produkowanych w latach 1964-1972 przez zakłady BREL w Yorku. Obecnie ogromna większość składów tego typu została już wycofana z eksploatacji. Można je spotkać jedynie na tzw. linii historycznej (heritage line) z Brockenhurst do Lymington. Jej operatorem jest firma South West Trains.

British Rail Class 421/5, no. 1313 at London Waterloo station. This was one of 22 "Greyhound" units operated by South West Trains. Following the replacement of the Class 421 fleet on South West Trains express services with the Class 444 Desiro units, this unit was withdrawn and scrapped.
