Brooks Calbert Robinson, Jr. (ur. 18 maja 1937) – amerykański baseballista, który występował na pozycji trzeciobazowego przez 23 sezony w Major League Baseball w zespole Baltimore Orioles.

Przebieg kariery

W 1955 roku przed rozpoczęciem sezonu w wieku 18 lat podpisał kontrakt z Orioles^[1]. W MLB zadebiutował 17 września 1955 w meczu przeciwko Washington Senators^[2]^[3]. W 1960 wystąpił po raz pierwszy (z osiemnastu) w Meczu Gwiazd MLB^[4]. W sezonie 1964 był najlepszy w American League w klasyfikacji zaliczonych RBI (118), został także wybrany MVP American League^[2]^[5].

W sezonie 1966 Orioles pokonali w World Series Los Angeles Dodgers w czterech meczach, a Robinson wystąpił we wszystkich spotkaniach^[6]. W tym samym roku został wybrany MVP Meczu Gwiazd^[7]. W finałach 1970 roku Orioles zwyciężyli w pięciu meczach z Cincinnati Reds; Robinson mając między innymi średnią uderzeń 0,429 oraz slugging percentage (0,810), został wybrany MVP World Series^[8]. Karierę zakończył w 1977 roku w wieku 40 lat^[2].

W 1983 roku został wybrany do Galerii Sław Baseballu^[9].
