Deanston – destylarnia single malt whisky, znajdująca się w miejscowości Deanston, w hrabstwie Stirling, w Szkocji. Jest jedną z młodszych szkockich destylarni.
Historia
Gorzelnia działa w budynkach starej przędzalni bawełny działającej tu w latach 1785-1960[1]. Następnie kompleks został kupiony przez spółkę Deanston Distillery Co. Ltd. i po niezbędnych modyfikacjach i inwestycjach, w roku 1965 rozpoczęto produkcję.

Deanston Distillery incorporates some of the buildings of the former Adelphi Cotton Mill, founded in 1785 by the Buchanan brothers, apprentices of Richard Arkwright, who invented the "Spinning Jenny". Arkwright designed the Adelphi Mill, covering the weaving hall roof with earth and a garden to keep the hall cool. In more recent times, the hall's consistent temperature has been ideal for the storage of maturing whisky.
