Denis Villeneuve (wym. /dəˈni vilˈnœv/, ur. 3 października 1967 w Bécancour) – kanadyjski reżyser i scenarzysta filmowy.
Życiorys
Jest trzykrotnym zwycięzcą Nagrody Genie dla najlepszego reżysera za filmy: Maelström w 2001 roku, Politechnika w 2010.[1] i Pogorzelisko w 2011[2].
Jego film Pogorzelisko reprezentował Kanadę na 83 ceremonii wręczania Oscarów[3] w kategorii najlepszego filmu nieanglojęzycznego i znalazł się na liście nominowanych do nagrody[4].
Zasiadał w jury konkursu głównego na 71. MFF w Cannes (2018).
