Derby (wym. [ˈdɑːbi]) – miasto i dystrykt (unitary authority)[2] w Wielkiej Brytanii (Anglia), w hrabstwie ceremonialnym Derbyshire, nad rzeką Derwent (dopływ Trentu).
Miasto jest silnie związane z historią i kulturą rzymską, saksońską i normańską. Zostało utworzone ok. 2000 lat temu. Jest obecnie podzielona na 17 okręgów. Derby to miasto typowo przemysłowe. Było ono ośrodkiem angielskiej rewolucji przemysłowej w XVIII w. Znajduje się tam drugoligowy klub piłkarski Derby County.
Derby jest wspomniana w Domesday Book (1086) jako Derby[3]. W mieście znajduje się stacja kolejowa Derby Midland, kolejowy ośrodek badawczy oraz Derby Museum and Art Gallery, założone w XIX wieku.
W pobliżu miasta znajduje się posiadłość Kedleston Hall.

Flag of England. Saint George's cross (a red cross on a white background), used as the Flag of England, the Italian city of Genoa and various other places.
The Flag of India. The colours are saffron, white and green. The navy blue wheel in the center of the flag has a diameter approximately the width of the white band and is called Ashoka's Dharma Chakra, with 24 spokes (after Ashoka, the Great). Each spoke depicts one hour of the day, portraying the prevalence of righteousness all 24 hours of it.
