Diamentowa Liga 2012
Samsung Diamentowa Liga 2012 – trzecia edycja zawodów Diamentowej Ligi na świecie. Cieszące się dużą popularnością zawody są stałym punktem w kalendarzu międzynarodowych mityngów lekkoatletycznych. W 2012 roku pierwsze zawody tradycyjnie odbyły się w stolicy Kataru Doha na stadionie Qatar SC Stadium. Po 20 lipca zawody czekała blisko miesięczna przerwa ze względu na mające się odbyć w Londynie Igrzyska Olimpijskie.

W sezonie 2012 Diamentowej Ligi punktowało dwoje polskich zawodników. Tomasz Majewski w pchnięciu kulą uplasował się na drugiej pozycji (12 punktów), a Żaneta Glanc w rzucie dyskiem była czwarta (3 punkty).

GOLD represents the natural wealth and beauty of sunlight; GREEN represents hope and agricultural resources; BLACK represents the strength and creativity of the people. The original symbolism, however, was "Hardships there are, but the land is green, and the sun shineth", where BLACK represented the hardships being faced.
