Diecezja Pittsburgh (łac. Dioecesis Pittsburgensis, ang. Diocese of Pittsburgh) jest diecezją Kościoła rzymskokatolickiego w metropolii Filadelfia w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Swym zasięgiem obejmuje południowo-zachodnią część stanu Pensylwania.
Historia
V Synod Prowincjonalny w Baltimore obradujący w maju 1843 roku wystosował petycję do Rzymu o potrzebie ustanowienia nowej diecezji w Pensylwanii. Miała ona obejmować zachodnie tereny ówczesnej diecezji filadelfijskiej. Odpowiedź Stolicy Apostolskiej nadeszła szybko. Diecezja z siedzibą w Pittsburghu została kanonicznie erygowana 11 sierpnia 1843 roku przez papieża Grzegorza XVI. Pierwszym ordynariuszem został kapłan pochodzenia irlandzkiego Michael O’Connor SJ (1810-1872), dotychczasowy wikariusz generalny zachodniej Pensylwanii i proboszcz w Pittsburghu. Diecezja kilkakrotnie traciła część terytoriów na rzecz nowo tworzonych diecezji: Erie (1853), Allegheny (1876, zlikwidowana w roku 1889), Altoona (1901) i Greensburg (1951).

The flag of Navassa Island is simply the United States flag. It does not have a "local" flag or "unofficial" flag; it is an uninhabited island. The version with a profile view was based on Flags of the World and as a fictional design has no status warranting a place on any Wiki. It was made up by a random person with no connection to the island, it has never flown on the island, and it has never received any sort of recognition or validation by any authority. The person quoted on that page has no authority to bestow a flag, "unofficial" or otherwise, on the island.
