Elgin – miasto w Stanach Zjednoczonych, w stanie Illinois, w Kane. Miasto założono w 1836 roku. Leży nad rzeką Fox River jest położone 65 km na zachód od Chicago. Elgin ma 95 tys. mieszkańców (spis ludności z 2000 roku), co plasuje to miasto na 8. pozycji w stanie.
Elgin jest jednym z najprężniej rozwijających się miast w regionie. Od 1990 do 2000 roku zwiększyło swoją populację o ponad 22% do 95 tys. W 2007 roku populacja sięgnęła 102 tys. O tempie rozwoju może świadczyć fakt, iż w 2002 roku miasto zostało wyróżnione prestiżową nagrodą All-America City Award.

It was made up by a random person with no connection to the island, it has never flown on the island, and it has never received any sort of recognition or validation by any authority. The person quoted on that page has no authority to bestow a flag, "unofficial" or otherwise, on the island.
