Kariera tenisowa
Od roku 2014 jest tenisistą zawodowym.
W grze pojedynczej Escobedo wygrał 4 turnieje rangi ATP Challenger Tour. Najwyżej sklasyfikowany był na 67. miejscu (17 lipca 2017) w singlu oraz na 296. (16 maja 2022) w deblu.
W 2016 roku zadebiutował w imprezie Wielkiego Szlema podczas turnieju US Open. Dotarł wówczas do drugiej rundy, w której przegrał z Kylem Edmundem.
