Flaga Republiki Chińskiej – czerwona flaga z błękitnym kantonem przedstawiającym białe słońce.
Historia
Flaga ta początkowo była banderą wojenną Chin. Po zwycięstwie Czang Kaj-szeka, została ustanowiona 17 grudnia 1928 jako flaga państwowa. Przedtem (w latach 1912–1928) wykorzystywano Flagę Pięciokolorową, której barwy symbolizowały pięć głównych grup etnicznych: Hanów czerwona, Mandżurów żółta, Mongołów niebieska, Hui biała, a Tybetańczyków czarna. Po zwycięstwie komunistów w chińskiej wojnie domowej w 1949 pozostała flagą sił nacjonalistycznych Republiki Chińskiej na Tajwanie.
Symbolika
Znak solarny jest popularnym w Azji symbolem pozytywnie konotującym. Dwanaście promieni symbolizuje postęp oraz porządek taki, jak na tarczy zegarowej. Poszczególne kolory odzwierciedlają:
- Błękit – demokrację, sprawiedliwość i równość
- Biel – czystość, dobrobyt i świetlaną przyszłość
- Czerwień – poświęcenie, nacjonalizm i wolność

Chinese Taipei Olympic Flag. According to the official website of Chinese Taipei Olympic Committee, Blue Sky(circle) & White Sun(triangles) above the Olympic rings is neither the National Emblem of the Republic of China, nor the Party Emblem of Kuomintang (KMT), but a design in between, where the triangles do not extend to the edge of the blue circle, as registered at International Olympic Committee in 1981 and digitally rendered in 2013. Besides, the blue outline of the five-petaled plum blossom is broader than the red one. Moreover, the CMYK code of the blue one and the Blue Sky & White Sun is "C100-M100-Y0-K0", and different from the Olympic rings (C100-M25-Y0-K0). Note that it's the only version recognized by IOC.

Full version of the outdoors flag of the Republic of China-Nanjing(w:en:Wang Jingwei Regime). The pennant above reads Peace, Anti-Communism, National Construction (和平反共建國). Used by the Wang Jingwei government of the Republic of China-Nanjing.
"和平" means "harmony" or "peace". "反共" means "anti-communism". "建國" means "building a state" or "building a country".
