Glikolipidy

Lipopolisacharyd wyizolowany z bakterii rodzaju Sinorhizobium jako przykład glikolipidu.

Glikolipidyorganiczne związki chemiczne, których cząsteczki zbudowane są z części lipidowej (sfingozyny lub kwasów tłuszczowych) do której przyłączone są fragmenty cukrowe najczęściej galaktoza lub glukoza. Glikolipidy są ważnym składnikiem błon komórkowych.
