Hamilton – miasto w Stanach Zjednoczonych, w południowo-zachodniej części stanu Ohio, nad rzeką Miami (dopływ Ohio), na północ od miasta Cincinnati.
W Hamilton urodził się geofizyk Charles Francis Richter, twórca skali Richtera[5]
Miasto leży w strefie klimatu wilgotnego subtropikalnego, z gorącym latem, należącego według klasyfikacji Köppena do strefy Cfa. Średnia temperatura roczna wynosi 12,3°C, a opady 662,9 mm (w tym do 48 cm opadów śniegu)[6]
W mieście rozwinął się przemysł maszynowy, papierniczy oraz włókienniczy[1].
