Piramida wieku hrabstwa
Hrabstwo Cochran – hrabstwo położone w Stanach Zjednoczonych w zachodniej części stanu Teksas, graniczące z Nowym Meksykiem[3]. Hrabstwo utworzono w 1876 roku poprzez wydzielenie obszaru z terytorium Younga, jednak przez wiele lat podlegało przemianom a ostateczny kształt uzyskało dopiero w 1931 r[1]. Siedzibą władz hrabstwa jest miasto Morton, które zamieszkuje ponad 60% populacji hrabstwa[2].
Nazwa hrabstwa pochodzi od nazwiska Roberta Corhana, artylerzysty poległego w bitwie o Alamo[4][3].
