Hrabstwo Dallas – hrabstwo położone w Stanach Zjednoczonych, w północno-wschodniej części stanu Teksas, obejmujące dużą część aglomeracji Dallas[3]. Hrabstwo utworzono w 1846 roku poprzez wydzielenie terytorium z hrabstw Nacogdoches i Robertson[1]. Siedzibą władz hrabstwa jest miasto Dallas, zamieszkałe przez około 50% mieszkańców hrabstwa. Według spisu z 2020 roku jest najgęściej zaludnionym hrabstwem stanu Teksas[4].

Nazwa hrabstwa pochodzi od nazwiska George Dallas, senatora stanu Pensylwania; 11. wiceprezydenta Stanów Zjednoczonych za prezydentury Jamesa Polka[3].

Na terenie hrabstwa znajduje się park stanowy Cedar Hill, leżący na południowy zachód od miasta, około 32 km od centrum, nad jeziorem Joe Pool Lake[5].

W 2020 roku 66,6% populacji to biali (28,3% nie licząc Latynosów), 40,8% to Latynosi, 23,6% to czarni lub Afroamerykanie, 6,7% miało pochodzenie azjatyckie, 2% było rasy mieszanej i 1,1% to rdzenna ludność Ameryki[4].

Religia

W 2010 roku hrabstwo Dallas ma czwartą co do wielkości (drugą w Teksasie, po hrabstwie Harris) społeczność muzułmańską w USA liczącą 84 256 osób (stanowili oni 3,6% populacji)[6].
