Illampú to czwarty szczyt Boliwii. Leży w Andach, na wschód od jeziora Titicaca, dość blisko jest też Ancohuma.
Pomimo iż jest niższy niż Ancohuma, Illampú jest bardziej stromy i trudniejszy pod względem wspinaczkowym. Szczyt ten zdobyli Hans Pfann, Alfred Horeschowsky, Hugo Hörtnagel (wszyscy z Niemiec) i Erwin Hein (Austriak) 7 czerwca 1928 r.

This is a clear and majestic view of Mount Illampú that was taken on a sunny day in the spring of 2007. This large mountain enjoys the distinction of being the fourth highest mountain of Bolivia within the Andes region of this country and is located just east of Lake Titicaca.
