Karel Abraham (ur. 2 stycznia 1990 w Brnie) – czeski motocyklista, do 2020 r. ścigający się w klasie MotoGP w zespole Reale Avintia.
Kariera
Po kilku sezonach w niższych kategoriach MMŚ, w 2010 Karel Abraham dołączył do stawki Moto2, gdzie osiągał swoje najlepsze wyniki w karierze (pierwsze podium na torze Motegi i dziewicze zwycięstwo w Valencii). W 2011 został pierwszym zawodnikiem z Czech, który wystartował w kategorii MotoGP, dosiadał motocykla Ducati Desmosedici, do końca sezonu walczył zaciekle z Calem Crutchlowem o tytuł debiutanta roku (Rookie of the Year), jednak w ostatnim wyścigu zaliczył upadek i przegrał z Anglikiem. Na 2012 team pozostał przy Desmosedici lecz spore problemy motocykla i słabe wsparcie spowodowały, że od 2013 Karel miał już startować na maszynie ART w specyfikacji CRT. Rok 2013 również nie należał do udanych m.in. dlatego, że Czech musiał opuścić 50% wyścigów z powodu przewlekłej kontuzji ramienia, zastąpił go Włoch, Luca Scassa. W 2014 Abraham jeździł na Hondzie RCV 1000R w specyfikacji 'Open'[1]. 6 razy nie ukończył wyścigów, a pozostałe starty pozycje między 10 a 15 – z tymi wynikami zajął 17. miejsce i zdobył 33 punkty (najlepsze starty w Indianapolis i San Marino). W następnym sezonie Czech nie zdobył punktów w MotoGP.
