Lawrence Hughes (ur. 2 marca 1924 w Liverpoolu - zm. 9 września 2011 tamże) – angielski piłkarz występujący podczas kariery na pozycji obrońcy.
Kariera klubowa
Laurie Hughes całą piłkarską karierę spędził w Liverpoolu, w którym występował w latach 1943-1960. Z The Reds zdobył mistrzostwo Anglii w 1947 oraz dotarł do finału Pucharu Anglii w 1950. W 1954 spadł z Liverpoolem do Division Two w 1954. Ostatni raz w barwach Czerwonych wystąpił 28 września 1957 w meczu z Charltonem, chociaż w kadrze pozostawał do maja 1960, kiedy to oficjalnie zakończył karierę. Ogółem w barwach The Reds rozegrał 326 spotkań, w których zdobył bramkę.

Kariera reprezentacyjna
W reprezentacji Anglii Hughes zadebiutował 25 czerwca 1950 w wygranym 2-0 meczu w mistrzostwach świata z Chile. Na turnieju w Brazylii wystąpił również w dwóch pozostałych meczach z USA i Hiszpanią, który był zarazem jego ostatnim meczem w reprezentacji.
