Lekkoatletyka na Igrzyskach Imperium Brytyjskiego i Wspólnoty Brytyjskiej w 1966 – zawody lekkoatletyczne, które były rozgrywane na stadionie Independence Park w Kingston na Jamajce.
Rozegrano 23 konkurencje męskie i 11 kobiecych. Po raz pierwszy mężczyźni rywalizowali w chodzie na 20 mil i w dziesięcioboju, a kobiety w biegu na 440 jardów. Były to ostatnie igrzyska, na których konkurencje biegowe odbywały się na dystansach mierzonych w jednostkach imperialnych (jardach i milach), a nie metrycznych.

Flag of Jamaica. “The sunshine, the land is green, and the people are strong and bold” is the symbolism of the colours of the flag. GOLD represents the natural wealth and beauty of sunlight; GREEN represents hope and agricultural resources; BLACK represents the strength and creativity of the people. The navy blue wheel in the center of the flag has a diameter approximately the width of the white band and is called Ashoka's Dharma Chakra, with 24 spokes (after Ashoka, the Great).
