Bieg na 200 metrów mężczyzn podczas XVIII Letnich Igrzysk Olimpijskich w Tokio rozegrano 16 (eliminacje i ćwierćfinały) i 17 października (półfinały i finał) na Stadionie Olimpijskim w Tokio. Zwycięzcą został Amerykanin Henry Carr, który w finale ustanowił rekord olimpijski wynikiem 20,3 s.
