Rzut młotem mężczyzn podczas XVIII Letnich Igrzysk Olimpijskich w Tokio rozegrano 17 (kwalifikacje) i 18 października 1964 (finał) na Stadionie Olimpijskim w Tokio. Zwycięzcą został Romuald Klim ze Związku Radzieckiego, który ustanowił w finale rekord olimpijski rzutem na odległość 69,74 m[1].
