Skok o tyczce mężczyzn podczas XVIII Letnich Igrzysk Olimpijskich w Tokio rozegrano 25 (kwalifikacje) i17 października 1964 (finał) na Stadionie Olimpijskim w Tokio. Zwycięzcą został Amerykanin Fred Hansen, który w finale ustanowił nowy rekord olimpijski wynikiem 5,10 m[1].
