Bieg na 200 metrów mężczyzn – jedna z konkurencji lekkoatletycznych rozegranych podczas XXIX Letnich Igrzyskach Olimpijskich w Pekinie na Stadionie Narodowym[1].
Rywalizacja sprinterów rozpoczęła się 18 sierpnia kiedy to rozegrano pierwszą rundę zawodów. Decydująca faza, która wyłoniła mistrza olimpijskiego odbyła się 20 sierpnia.
Mistrzem olimpijskim został Usain Bolt, który pobił rekord świata na tym dystansie uzyskując wynik 19,30.
