Stacja Szopienice Północne była kiedyś główną stacją w Szopienicach i niemym świadkiem okrutnej historii, którą świetnie opisał Kazimierz Kutz w "Piątej stronie świata". Między innymi tutaj oczekiwały transporty do niemieckiego obozu koncentracyjnego Auschwitz.
The Szopienice Północne (North) were once the main station in Szopienice and a silent witness to the tragic history of the XX century, what was very well described in Kazimierz Kutz's book "Piąta strona świata" ("The fifth side of the world"). It was here where the transports for German Concentration Camp Auschwitz made their last stops.
