Linia kolejowa 740 – pierwszorzędna, jednotorowa, zelektryfikowana linia kolejowa znaczenia państwowego, łącząca stację Ponętów z posterunkiem odgałęźnym Zamków[2][3][4].
Linia w całości została zaklasyfikowana do kompleksowej i bazowej towarowej sieci transportowej TEN-T[2].
