Matthew "Matt" Bachand (ur. 29 kwietnia 1977 w Westfield, Massachusetts[1]) – amerykański muzyk, kompozytor i wokalista, a także inżynier dźwięku i producent muzyczny. Matt Bachand znany jest przede wszystkim z wieloletnich występów w zespole metalcore'owym Shadows Fall, którego był współzałożycielem[2]. W 2007 roku wraz z grupą uzyskał nominację do nagrody amerykańskiego przemysłu fonograficznego Grammy w kategorii Best Metal Performance, za pochodzący z płyty Threads of Life utwór pt. "Redemption"[3]. W 2011 roku dołączył do koncertowego składu projektu Adama Dutkiewicza - Times of Grace[4]. Od 2013 roku jako muzyk koncertowy wspiera grupę Hatebreed[5]. W 2014 roku wraz z perkusistą Shawnem Droverem i gitarzystą Chrisem Broderickiem, wówczas członkami zespołu Megadeth oraz wokalistą Henrym Derekiem Bonnerem, byłym członkiem formacji Scar the Martyr utworzył kwartet Act of Defiance w którym objął funkcję basisty[6].
