Sprint mężczyzn na Mistrzostwach świata w biathlonie 2012 odbył się 3 marca w Chiemgau-Arena. Była to pierwsza indywidualna męska konkurencja podczas tych mistrzostw.

Złoty medal zdobył Francuz Martin Fourcade, srebrny medal wywalczył Norweg Emil Hegle Svendsen, zaś brązowy zdobył Szwed Carl Johan Bergman. Martin Fourcade wygrywając ten bieg odniósł swoje dziesiąte zwycięstwo w karierze.
