Mistrzostwa Świata w Hokeju na Lodzie 2020 (III Dywizja)

Mistrzostwa Świata w Hokeju na Lodzie III Dywizji 2020 rozegrane zostaną w dniach 19 – 25 kwietnia 2020 (Grupa A) oraz 20 - 23 kwietnia 2020 (Grupa B).

Do mistrzostw III Dywizji przystąpi 10 zespołów, które zostały podzielone na jedną grupę sześciozespołową, oraz na drugą czterozespołową. Zgodnie z formatem zawody III Dywizji odbędą się w dwóch grupach: Grupa A w Luksemburgu (Kockelscheuer), zaś grupa B w Południowoafrykańskim (Kapsztadzie). Reprezentacje rywalizować będą systemem każdy z każdym.

Hale, w których przeprowadzone zostaną zawody:

  • Luksemburg Patinoire de Kockelscheuer w Kockelscheuer – Dywizja IIIA,
  • Południowa Afryka Ice Station w Kapsztadzie – Dywizja IIIB.

Turnieje zostały odwołane z powodu pandemii COVID-19[1].

Grupa A

Do mistrzostw świata drugiej dywizji w 2021 z Grupy A awansuje najlepsza reprezentacje. Ostatni zespół Grupy A zostanie zdegradowany i w 2021 zagra w Grupie B.

Do mistrzostw świata III Dywizji Grupy A w 2021 z Grupy B awansuje pierwsza drużyna. Ostatni zespół Grupy B zostanie zdegradowany i w 2021 zagra w mistrzostwach świata IV Dywizji.
