Mistrzostwa Świata w Netballu 1979 – V edycja MŚ w netballu, która odbyła się w stolicy Trynidadu i Tobago, Port-of-Spain. Udział brało 19 drużyn. Pierwsze miejsce zajęły ex aequo Australia, Nowa Zelandia i Trynidad i Tobago.
