Skok w dal mężczyzn był jedną z konkurencji rozgrywanych podczas VIII Mistrzostw Europy w Budapeszcie. Kwalifikacje rozegrano 30 sierpnia, a finał 31 sierpnia 1966. Zwycięzcą tej konkurencji został reprezentant Wielkiej Brytanii Lynn Davies. W rywalizacji wzięło udział dwudziestu zawodników z dwunastu reprezentacji.
