Montbouy – miejscowość i gmina we Francji, w Regionie Centralnym, w departamencie Loiret.
Według danych na rok 1990 gminę zamieszkiwało 629 osób, a gęstość zaludnienia wynosiła 24 osoby/km² (wśród 1842 gmin Centre, Montbouy plasuje się na 585. miejscu pod względem liczby ludności, natomiast pod względem powierzchni na miejscu 450.).
W miejscowości można zobaczyć zabytki z różnych epok, począwszy od okresu gallo-romańskiego. Znajduje się tutaj m.in. średniowieczny kościół Notre-Dame, wybudowany w XIX wieku Most Salles na kanale Briare i kilka zamków z XVIII i XIX wieku[1].

This photo was taken from a point level with the top of the present lock the highest lock on the river Loing (7 m high). The parking lot behind the row of trees along the left of the canal, was built over the old canal port after the canal was slightly moved (towards the right of the photo) at the end of 19th century. One of the old locks' structure (there were two locks in Montbouy, previously to the change in the canal's course) is still visible immediately beside the present day lock.
