W dniu 1 stycznia 2016 roku z połączenia dwóch ówczesnych gmin – Mortzwiller oraz Soppe-le-Haut – utworzono nową gminę Le Haut-Soultzbach. Siedzibą gminy została miejscowość Mortzwiller^[2].
